First week back

Welcome back to the first week of term four. It has been super busy with lots of new children who have settled in well. We look forward to getting to know them.
On Wednesday the whole school went on a trip to the pool for a swim. In this program we will be playing games, swimming lengths of the pool and learning survival skills for the summer. We will be swimming on Wednesday and Friday. Next week (week two) it will be on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday so remember your swimming gear!
Coming up in week 9 we have the school play, Peter Pan. Most of the children now have their parts and there is a lot of enthusiasm.
On Friday the school had their swim, and then split into two groups, with Room 2, Room 1, and part of Room 3 volunteering to clean up Friendly Bay, and then make nesting boxes for penguins as a part of our 'Character counts' program.
Room 3 and 4 buddied up and did some work in the Community Gardens.
